Museum Group Visits

From schools to college students or adult tour groups, an out-of-this-world daily experience at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center is waiting for you!

We offer Ultimate Field trips in two timeslots:

9:00 AM - 3:00 PM 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

We must have your group's final headcount three weeks in advance for staffing purposes.

Ultimate Field Trip schedules are predetermined by our staff and cannot be changed.

General Requirements

  • We accommodate groups during museum operating hours.
  • A minimum of 15 paying guests is required to be considered a group.
  • A 1:25 ratio of chaperones to students is required for student groups, and groups receive one complimentary chaperone admission for every 25 paid students.
    • Adults must accompany students at all times.
    • Parents and chaperones must be included in group numbers to be admitted with the group.
      • Adults for groups are 18+
      • Children 4 & under are free
  • Ultimate Field Trip requires a $50 deposit 3 weeks prior to arrival.
  • Preregistration is required for all groups.

Reservation Process

  • Space is limited, so please book your group at least four weeks in advance to accommodate your group needs.
  • Reservations are made by filling out of Group Visit form. Please call 1-800.637.7223 option 1 if you have any questions, or email your requests to [email protected] 
    Remember...
    • Please plan for three to six hours to complete all activities and fully explore the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. We advise at least three to four hours to tour the museum. Additional time may be needed if your group would like to watch a movie, eat lunch, and/or participate in other experiences. Six hours are required for Ultimate Field Trips.
    • Bus drivers receive complimentary general admission. Movie or show tickets are not included.

Payment

  • For Ultimate Field Trips, a $50 non-refundable deposit is due 3 weeks prior to your visit with the total balance due at check-in.
  • For all groups, full payment is due upon arrival at check-in.
  • One payment should be made for the entire group.
  • We accept cash, school/district/institution checks, and all major credit cards.
  • We do not accept purchase orders.

Refund Policy

  • No refunds will be issued for headcount changes made within 48 hours of your group’s visit date. This only applies if you have paid in advance or bring a check for more than the amount that attending without notifying Guest Services or a Group Sales Coordinator 48 hours or more in advance.
  • Refunds are unavailable for simulator closures due to inclement weather or required maintenance.
  • Deposits for Ultimate Field Trips are non-refundable.
