Have you ever wondered what a specific location on Earth looks like from space? Educators around the world can register free today to take images using equipment onboard the International Space Station. The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is home to the Sally Ride EarthKAM @ Space Camp program and students can request real-time photos from an onboard camera.
Formal and informal educators and their students around the world can apply to participate now. Sign up at EarthKam.org, choose a location to photograph from the ISS, then receive your free image once it’s taken. It’s that simple!
This NASA mission is administered by the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Teledyne Brown Engineering and the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
