HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Dr. Jon Morse, CEO of BoldlyGo Institute, discusses his non-profit organization’s goals for commercial space endeavors at the next Pass the Torch lecture at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center Thursday, May 19, at 5:30 p.m. Morse will discuss his company’s “NewSpace Science” initiatives, including a Mars round-trip robotic mission and a Hubble-class space telescope.
His talk takes place in the Davidson Center for Space Exploration’s National Geographic Theater. The Rocket Center’s Biergarten also takes place each Thursday evening from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., so guests may grab a beer and settle in to catch Dr. Morse’s talk.
Before joining BoldlyGo Institute, Dr. Morse served as Director of Astrophysics in the Science Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters, as Senior Policy Analyst in the White House Office of Science & Technology Policy and as Project Scientist for the Cosmic Origins Spectrography aboard the Hubble Space Telescope.
