HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is offering a uniquely Huntsville way to ring in the New Year. The 2016 New Year’s Eve Mars Masquerade takes place under the Saturn V moon rocket at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center’s Davidson Center for Space Exploration. The party starts Dec. 31, at 8 p.m., and “The Groove Band” takes the stage at 8:30 p.m., playing dance favorites from the 1960s to today.
The event includes cash bars and a menu of heavy hors d’oeuvres ranging from a Steamship Round of Beef with crusty rolls and sauces, a pasta bar and much more. The evening concludes with a champagne toast at midnight.
Ticket pricing for the Early Bird Special is $130 per couple or $65 for single tickets, available through Dec. 23rd. Pricing is $150 per couple and $75 per single ticket beginning Dec. 24.
The Rocket Center is partnering with the Huntsville Marriott on the Rocket Center grounds on a great hotel package for the evening. The package includes hotel accommodations, tickets to the Mars Masquerade and shuttle service to and from the party.
