HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is now showing the first episode of “Space Explorers: The ISS Experience” in its National Geographic Theater. “Adapt,” episode one of this four-part series, follows a new crew of astronauts as they arrive aboard the International Space Station and discover the joy, wonder and danger of living and working in space.

The largest production ever filmed in space, “The ISS Experience” is an immersive series that follows eight astronauts as they draw on years of training to overcome disorientation from microgravity, respond to potential catastrophic emergencies and learn to operate as a close-knit team. Astronauts Anne McClain, David Saint-Jacques, Nick Hague and Christina Koch, a five-time Space Camp alumna, serve as cast, film crew and narrators in the first episode.

The Payload Operations Integration Center at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center helped with the production of “The ISS Experience,” working from the ground to support the filming efforts.

“The ISS Experience” shows Tuesday through Saturday at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and Sunday at noon and 3 p.m. Museum admission or membership is required for entrance, and tickets for “The ISS Experience” are an additional $5 for members, $7 for children and $8 for adults.
